History of Ancient Worlds

The focus area of the 6th Grade Social Studies curriculum is Ancient Worlds. In my class, we will learn about Ancient Egypt and the Fertile Crescent, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome, culminating at the end of the year with a team unit project about Ancient Americas.

To start out year, we will spend time reviewing Geography, looking at the Five Themes of Geography and map-reading skills. This will ultimately set students up for success for the rest of the year in social studies class!
